BTS - "Baby Wussup" Music Video - Ricky Young ft. Bubba Sparxx - Nashville, TN
Ricky Young reached out to us to film another music video, following his last music video for "Could You Love Me Again" off his previous album. This song "Baby Wussup" will be on his new album and features Bubba Sparxxx. I never miss a chance to travel to Nashville, TN, so I jumped at the opportunity. Amy Edwards of New Image Studio, a Raleigh based photography company that we've partnered with for video production, joined me for the road trip to Nashvegas. I brought Amy along, not only as a companion, but as my behind-the-scenes (BTS) photographer. She did an amazing job and captured all the greatest moments from the journey.
Not long after arriving in Nashville, we met up with Ricky and Joel Rush (of The Grand Folks) and we headed to the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. There we met up with Ricky's tour manager, Taylor Phillips, and some of Ricky's friends from SC: Alyse, Doug, & Brent. After the bridge scene we hit the streets for some cool scenes. Later that Night we headed to Tin Roof for Bubba's show where Ricky took the stage and the audience erupted!
DAY 1 / NIGHT 1
Monday we started our day around 12 noon and ate at a fantastic "hidden gem" of a restaurant called Monell's in Germantown. We didn't shoot pictures, but check the link for details. You have to eat there if you're in Nashville. Filming commenced around 4pm and lasted through 7:30ish. We mostly filmed in and around Losers bar in Nashville and we had some really great people come out. Bubba Sparxxx, obviously arrived for his part in the video. Lee Brice, who is nominated for Male Vocalist, Single Record, Song, and Video of the year at the 49th ACM Awards on Sunday, April 6th, showed up as did his brother Lewis Brice who is also a very talented musician.
