Each summer, Community Chorus Project runs a Summer Recording Workshop at UNC-Chapel Hill for high-school singers admitted after an audition process,. The workshop is directed by Marianne Cheng and Colin Egan. At the end of the recording workshop, students perform at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, and the performance often features student spotlight performances.

Folks attending the Be Loud '16 celebrations over the weekend of August 26 and 27 at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC gathered to sing "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's. This event helped the Be Loud! Sophie Foundation raise funds to support young cancer patients being treated at UNC hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.

Summer 2019, our singers recorded civil rights anthem, "A Change Is Gonna Come," by Sam Cooke at UNC, Chapel Hill. Soloists are Reyna Alston and Chelsea Rose with piano accompaniment by Kellen Moss.
